Alisa Weilerstein performs Shostakovich in Munich
On October 1 and 2, 2015, Alisa Weilerstein joins the Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks and conductor Pablo Heras-Casado for performances of Shostakovich’s Second Concerto at the Herkulessaal der Residenz in Munich, Germany. This work, in addition to the composer’s First Concerto, will be recorded live for future release.
The program also features Haydn’s Symphony No. 50 and Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 9.
