Alisa Weilerstein makes her London Symphony Orchestra debut on January 17, presenting her “incandescent” (New York Times) interpretation of Elgar’s elegiac Cello Concerto. She reunites with conductor and frequent collaborator Pablo Heras-Casado for the concert at the Barbican, which also includes Dvorák’s Symphony No. 7 and Tchaikovsky’s Tempest Overture.
