This fall, Alisa Weilerstein launches the 2021/22 season with a solo recital of Bach and Golijov at London’s Wigmore Hall (September 13), followed by a program of Tchaikovsky and Haydn at the George Enescu Festival with conductor Horia Andreescu and the Radio Romania Chamber Orchestra (September 18).
At the end of September, Alisa travels to Locarno, Switzerland for the Settimane Musicali Ascona, performing Schubert’s Piano Trio No.
This summer, Alisa Weilerstein performs in many of the top classical music festivals across the United States and Germany. On June 19, Alisa performs at the Twenty Fast Forward Festival at Konfort Erfurt, performing Bach Cello Suites 1, 2 and 3. Later, on June 23, Alisa performs at the Ludwigsburg Festival, performing a program of Tavener, Janáček, Beethoven, and Shostakovich with Anna Prohaska (soprano), Veronika Eberle (violin) and Iddo Bar-Shaï (piano).
