This winter, Alisa Weilerstein performs livestreamed concerts with Chamber Music Northwest, the Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal, and the Cleveland Orchestra. 

Premiering on January 30, Alisa joins pianist and frequent collaborator Inon Barnatan for a recital of De Falla’s “Suite Populaire Espagnole” and Rachmaninoff’s “Sonata for Cello & Piano in G Minor, Op. 19” at Chamber Music Northwest (available online until February 6). 

Next, on February 2, Alisa joins the Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal and conductor Rafael Payare for a concert featuring Shostakovich’s Second Cello Concerto, as well as works by Estévez and Dvořák. This stream will premiere at 7pm EST, and will remain available until February 16. 

Alisa finishes February in Cleveland, performing the complete Bach Cello Suites at the Cleveland Orchestra’s Reinberger Chamber Hall on February 25. The performance will premiere on the Orchestra’s newly launched Adella streaming platform.
