A European Recital Tour and Live Webcast with Inon Barnatan

Following the release of the Chopin and Rachmaninov cello sonatas on Decca in October, Alisa Weilerstein and pianist Inon Barnatan embark on a six-country European tour, including a visit to London’s Wigmore Hall on November 14. Their November 6 concert at the Auditorium du Louvre in Paris will be webcast live by Medici.tv beginning at 8pm CET.

The longtime recital partners also appear at the Paleis voor Schone Kunsten in Brussels on November 5, Copenhagen’s Mogens Dahl Koncertsal on November 10, the Cemal Resit Rey Concert Hall in Istanbul on November 12, Bonn’s Beethoven-Haus on November 13, and Hamburg’s Laeiszhalle on November 15. View the tour schedule and buy tickets here.

The recital program includes Chopin’s Cello Sonata in G minor — included on the duo’s recent recording — plus works by Beethoven, Barber, Janácek Schubert, and Rachmaninov. In Paris, the duo performs American composer Joseph Hallman’s DreamLog, written especially for the two artists. Alisa and Inon reunite in the United States for appearances in Fort Worth on February 4 and at Stanford’s Bing Concert Hall on February 6.
