Continuing her on-going project FRAGMENTS, Alisa brings FRAGMENTS 5: Lament to Carnegie Hall on April 15.

A few days later she travels to Los Angeles to perform Shostakovich’s Second Cello Concerto with the LA Philharmonic under the baton of Ryan Bancroft.

An avid chamber musician, Alisa bookends her chamber performances this season with longtime friend and collaborator pianist Inon Barnatan in Palm Desert, California on April 26. The repertoire includes both Brahms’s Cello Sonatas, juxtaposed with two sonatas by Shostakovich: his Cello Sonata in D minor and his Sonata for Viola and Piano.
