Discussing Bach on “Live with Carnegie Hall”

On May 28, Alisa Weilerstein joins Carnegie Hall for its new online series, Live with Carnegie Hall. On this episode, Alisa joins Carnegie Hall’s Executive and Artistic Director Clive Gillinson and WQXR’s John Schaefer for a discussion on the importance of Bach, as well as her approach to the suites both in the recording studio and at home. This episode follows the wildly successful release of Alisa’s new album, Bach: Cello Suites, which came out earlier this spring on Pentatone, as well as her #36DaysofBach project, which was created in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Tune in to Alisa’s episode of Live with Carnegie Hall on May 28 at 2 pm ET on Facebook or Instagram.
